AZAMARA CRUISES
Cruising is a remarkable value. And when it comes to destinations, it’s especially true in places like the Caribbean in the fall and winter or in Europe during the winter months when demand is less and therefore rates are lower. Cruising in Europe really does represent a terrific bargain for two main reasons: the strong Euro makes land-based vacations very pricey. And secondly, to see all the places that a cruise takes you would require numerous flights or a rental car, plus tolls, gas, parking and much more – and that’s not even considering lodging and meals. Ouch. All of you, especially the super budget-minded, will appreciate Saving money.
Azamara Cruises
SM unlocks the hidden corners of the world for those who desire to immerse themselves in the rich detailsof the voyage. Every moment onboard represents a rich array of finely crafted details and graceful amenities—butler
service in all staterooms, small-scale immersive excursions, enriching offerings such as culinary and photographic
explorations, customized stateroom experiences, and culinary encounters inspired by the world’s most renowned chefs—
delivered with a passionate commitment to service.
Azamara Cruises consists of two intimate ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. Each can carry 694 fortunate guests and because they are smaller and sleeker than larger cruise ships, they can sail to ports that others simply cannot reach.
Azamara Cruises, the new "deluxe" brand launched by Celebrity
Cruises is putting the final touches on its first World Cruise to be
operated in 2010. The Azamara Journey is tentatively set to offer a 114-night
World Cruise that will visit 54 ports of call.
Azamara is attracting baby boomers and mature travelers, including past
cruisers from Oceania, Crystal and Regent Seven Seas. In addition, past
Celebrity cruisers are trying out Azamara, especially those who previously
sailed to more exotic destinations. Once the brand is well-established -- the
Azamara Quest is due out in October. The two 30,277-ton Azamara ships are former
R-class ships that accommodate 694 passengers double occupancy.
